This is a beautiful antique arts and crafts style extending oak dining table. The detailed carvings make this a very unusual piece.
 
It looks to be made from quarter sawn oak, which is held in high regard by furniture makers as it is the highest quality of oak. The beautiful medullary rays in the grain demonstrate this.
 
The table comes complete with Joseph Fitter mechanism and the original winder.
