This beautiful antique nursing chair we believe to have originated from the Aesthetic design school at the end of the 19th Century.
 
It has been reupholstered using the traditional method of horse hair and we have freshly recovered the chair in a beautiful duck egg blue fabric.
 
The ebonised chair with its gilt paintwork would take pride of place in many homes as a nursing chair, fireside chair, in a bedroom or in a hallway.
