A beautiful and characterful antique pine display cabinet / bookcase, featuring an attractive traditional design and plenty of period character.
 
The cabinet has a pair of glass-fronted doors opening to reveal a spacious interior with several shelves, providing plenty of room for displaying books, china, glassware, collectables or decorative pieces.
 
It has some particularly attractive detailing, including an ornate carved pediment, decorative carved details to either side and turned bun feet. Two useful drawers are positioned beneath the cupboard, each fitted with a simple wooden knob handle.
 
The cabinet has its key and the doors lock.
 
The pine has a lovely warm colour with plenty of natural grain, knots and variation, giving the piece an attractive country appearance that would work particularly well in a farmhouse, cottage or traditional interior.
 
As to be expected with an antique piece, there are various marks, knocks, and general signs of wear throughout. Some signs of old woodworm as is common with items of this age.
