A beautiful vintage Art Deco three-drawer chest of drawers, believed to be by renowned British furniture manufacturer Lebus.
 
This chest was acquired as part of a matching bedroom suite, with other pieces from the same suite bearing original Lebus maker's labels. Although we have not found a label on this particular chest, its matching design and provenance strongly suggest that it is also by Lebus.
 
The chest features three spacious full-width drawers with particularly attractive figured veneer fronts. Each drawer is fitted with a pair of decorative dark metal handles which complement the warm wood finish beautifully.
 
Further period detailing includes the gently shaped top with raised back edge, contrasting dark trim and simple tapered legs.
 
The chest is in good vintage condition overall, with minor marks and signs of previous use consistent with its age.
 
A particularly attractive example of Art Deco bedroom furniture, combining an unusual period design with plenty of useful storage.
