A charming antique pine chest of drawers with a wonderfully warm, aged finish and plenty of rustic country character.

The chest features an attractive arrangement of two smaller drawers over two full-width drawers, each fitted with traditional turned wooden handles. Decorative keyholes remain to the drawer fronts, while the chest stands on turned bun feet and has a moulded top.

The pine has developed a lovely mellow colour and patina over the years, with attractive knots and natural variations in the grain throughout. Its simple proportions and time-worn appearance make it particularly well suited to a traditional, farmhouse or country-style interior.

A useful piece offering a good amount of storage while retaining all the charm and individuality expected from antique furniture.

Plenty of age-related character. There are various marks, scratches, knocks, areas of wear and variations to the colour and finish throughout, consistent with its age and use.

There are signs of a few old repairs, as would be expected with a piece of this age, but the chest is sturdy enough for continued use. There is also some wear and minor losses around the edges and lower areas.

A lovely characterful antique pine chest with a naturally aged appearance and plenty of rustic charm.
