This vintage oak desk is ideal for those that like their furniture with some history.
 
According to part of an old label inside one of the drawers, we believe the desk to have been used by Sir Reginald Watson-Jones, a prominent English orthopaedic surgeon. He wrote many popular textbooks and  in 1945 he was created Knight Bachelor for his services to the Royal Air Force during the Second World War.
 
Signs of use and wear and tear over the years as is to be expected with an item of this age (please see photographs).
